Cappella Embassy stands on Jalan Nipah, a side road off Jalan Ampang, in the stretch of Kuala Lumpur that the city calls Embassy Row. The Embassy of the Republic of Korea is immediately alongside; the Chinese, American, Indonesian and Thai missions and the Singapore High Commission are all in the same corridor, together with Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur, the International School of Kuala Lumpur and Great Eastern Mall.

What Embassy Row actually is

Embassy Row is the informal name for the stretch of Jalan Ampang and its side roads where Kuala Lumpur's diplomatic missions cluster. It is not an administrative district and it has no boundary on a map. What it does have is a set of consequences that matter to a resident: low through-traffic on the side roads, a steady security presence, mature trees, generous plot sizes held for decades, and neighbours whose buildings will not be replaced by a tower next year. The address is a five-minute drive from the KLCC precinct without sitting inside it.

Related questions

Location

What is the exact address?

Jalan Nipah, off Jalan Ampang, 55000 Kuala Lumpur. The site sits in the Jalan Ampang embassy corridor, immediately beside the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

Is Ampang Hilir in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor?

The postal address is 55000 Kuala Lumpur, and that is how the project's own brochures and the sale documents describe it. Ampang Hilir sits close to the Kuala Lumpur–Selangor boundary and the land-title particulars are a separate question from the postal address, so your solicitor should confirm the title particulars during the search — they can affect the foreign-buyer threshold that applies.

Which LRT station is nearest?

Jelatek LRT on the Kelana Jaya line is the closest station, with Dato' Keramat and Damai also within reach. By road the site connects to Jalan Ampang, the AKLEH, DUKE, SPE and MRR2. Distances on this page are straight-line approximations — check your own route on Google Maps.
